Safety and Operational Risk -
Quality Specialist – Ground Handling Services

Responsibilities

  • To conduct performance check on ramp and passenger services related areas and compile relevant statistics and reports to the management;

  • To assist in monitoring ramp and passenger operations service delivery standards of the company;

  • To assist in writing up all ramp and passenger services related manuals for the company;

  • To assist in organizing and participating in emergency and accident exercise for customer airlines or external organization e.g. Airport Authority;

  • To assist in planning and conducting E&A briefing;

  • To assist and participate in airlines/authorities audits as required;

  • To assist in managing the SOP and/or manual library;

  • To assist in coordinating quality and performance improvement reports/plans in Warehouse Handling, Passenger Services and Ramp handling sections, through coordinating with the operations team, as well as with the use of supportive analysis index;

  • To attend training sessions, as and when required, either as instructor or trainee;

  • To be responsible for miscellaneous administrative duties of the whole section, e.g. roster administration, stationery ordering etc. when required;

  • To perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by your superior.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education;

  • Substantial operational knowledge and experience in the airport/ramp operations including 3 years’ experience at supervisory level;

  • Holding of valid Hong Kong Driving License Class 1 & 2 is an advantage but not a must;

  • Proficiency in computer literacy with knowledge in MS Office;

  • Good written and verbal communications skills (both English and Chinese);

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to relate to all levels, both inside and outside the organization;

  • Able to work independently;

  • Good analytical skill.
