Safety and Operational Risk - Safety and Security Specialist

Responsibilities
Assist the Assistant Safety and Security Manager to handle safety and security reports and maintain the reporting occurrence database of CDI.
Conduct safety and security inspections as well as assist in monitoring contractors’ performance.
Coordinate with line departments in conducting risk assessments on operational activities, reviewing rules and regulations for catering services.
Assist in preparation of briefing material and statistical reports as required by the Safety Action Group.
Assist line departments to execute safety management programmes and monitor the associated safety performance.
Conduct accident and incident investigations, violations or criminal activities, and to recommend preventive measures.
Plan, organise and conduct safety and security training and promotional activities for CDI staff and subcontractors as required.
Assist in monitoring the company's compliance with all relevant OSH legislations and promoting continuous improvements in OSH management system practices.
Ensure the operation within CDI Permit Office is carried out smoothly and orderly.
Support other CX subsidiaries for matters of safety and security and completes other projects/assignments as directed by the Manager - Safety and Security.
Any ad hoc duties as assigned by superior(s).
Requirements
Tertiary education in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
Preferably be a Registered Safety Officer (RSO).
Minimum 4 years of solid experience in safety management in relevant business environment or sizeable organisation.
Good knowledge in managing Safety Management System and ISO45001.
Exposure in catering or industrial operations is an advantage.
Consistency in delivering high quality work with strong organising and analytical skills.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office and other PC applications).
Good interpersonal & communication and presentation skills.
Holder of a valid driving license (Class 1) is an advantage.
