People - People Officer (HAS) - 1 Year Contract

Responsibilities

  • Support People Department and the Management for employee communication through developing effective and innovative communication channels and materials.

  • Assist to coordinate in unions and staff consultative groups matters, maintaining harmonious working relations.

  • Prepare communication materials including emails, circulars, editorial materials for internal publications and other communication channels.

  • Participate in staff caring program, home visit, and employee relations program.

  • Provide in-house employee counseling and communication to explore employee needs and expectations.

  • Provide logistic support and schedule communication meetings and administration of staff communication program.

  • Manage and measure the employee engagement level throughout their employment life cycle with tools such as focus groups, employee engagement survey.

  • Assist in organize employee engagement campaigns and other Company events together with our People teams and other working group members from various departments.

  • Support talent development and e-learning administration.

  • Participate in projects as allocated by his/her supervisor.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Language and/or Communication, Translation, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience in employee communication, marketing or related fields, preferably gained from sizable companies or organizations.

  • Familiarize with Employment Ordinance, Employee Compensation Ordinance, and related regulations.

  • Good teamwork, interpersonal and project management skills.

  • Able to communicate with all levels.

  • Good command of written/spoken English and Chinese.

  • Hands-on knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing, and photo/graphic editing software.
